致全体西外留学生：

    鉴于目前新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情形势，按照陕西省教育厅的统一部署，学校研究决定，推迟2020年春季学期开学时间，具体开学时间和后续安排，将根据疫情防控趋势另行通知。请全体同学务必不要提前返校报道。

如确因特殊情况需要返校者，按以下程序处理：

    一、抵达学校后须第一时间向自己所在学院报备。接受学院、校医院的针对假期行程轨迹的询问及体检排查并签署《西安外国语大学国际学生留宿观察承诺书》。

    二、凡由校外返回学校者，需先在学校雁塔校区4号学生公寓自行隔离15天。隔离期间产生的住宿费、餐饮费、生活费等其他费用自理。

    隔离期间由所在学院安排专人负责管理，每天一次向校医院报告健康状况。针对有疫区旅行史或与疫区人员、确诊病例、疑似病例人员密切接触史的按重点人员进行医学隔离管控，实行专班制度。隔离期满后，由校医院视情况提出就诊或解除隔离意见。

    鉴于目前疫情防控形式严峻，为避免新的输入性感染和交叉感染，再次重申：在未接到学校正式通知的开学日期前，务必不要提前返校。

    疫情防控，人人有责。请对中国政府的疫情防控举措有充分信心，理解并配合学校防疫工作，共同努力，共克时艰，共渡难关！

To dear XISU students,

Given that the outbreak of conoravirus in China, in accordance with the unified deployment of Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education, Xi’an International Studies University, after research, has decided to postpone the starting date of the spring semester of 2020. The specific information on the date for starting school and follow-up arrangements will be announced with further notice based on the future situation of epidemic prevention and control. Please do not return to school for registration in advance.

        Under special circumstances, students who return to school in advance have to go through the following procedures:

        First, report to your faculty once you arrive on campus; report the travel history during vacation to your faculty and school infirmary, go for fitness check up, and sign the Commitment by International Students under On-Campus Medical Surveillance at XISU.

        Second, students who return to school in advance, upon arrival, must be kept in quarantine for 15 days in No.4 Student Dormitory on Yanta campus. Students bear all expenses including accommodation, catering and other expenses incurred during quarantine.

        During 15-day quarantine, it is the faculty that is responsible for the on-campus management of the quarantined student including a daily fitness report to the school hospital. For students with travel history to the epidemic area and contact with people from the epidemic area, confirmed cases and suspected cases, a medical quarantine shall be enforce by a designated person.

        In view of the serious situation of the disease control, here once again, to avoid cross infection and imported cases, we reaffirm that Please do not return to school for registration in advance before further notice from the school.

        Everyone bears his or her share of the responsibility for the epidemic prevention and control. We sincerely hope you could understand the preventive measures taken by the school and we could work together to get through the difficult time.
